Home

I have always imagined Elora’s home looking something like this. Super cozy, warm, and filled with a quiet sense of peace. Her home is the kind of place where the windows stay glowing after sunset, where the kettle is always warm, and where plants slowly overtake every shelf and corner. Elora’s inner struggle has always been emotional distance, so I think it’s fitting that her space feels soft in all the ways she sometimes struggles to be herself. She takes care of things gently, even when she doesn’t always know how to let others take care of her in return.

Honestly, the inspiration came from my old apartment in New York, where for the longest time, plants were my main companion. They were low maintenance, quiet, and somehow comforting in a way that felt difficult to explain at the time. I think a part of me found peace in knowing that no matter the environment, they would still try to grow toward the light. Even when neglected for a little too long, they kept blooming anyway. I carried a lot of that feeling into Elora’s character. Her home became a reflection of that quiet resilience — a place filled with living things, soft light, and small reminders that growth does not always have to be loud to be meaningful.
