Join a monthly island penpal membership centered around thoughtful snail mail exchanges.

Each month, members are paired with another Islander to exchange letters, story, and small everyday moments with one another. Alongside the exchange, members also receive access to the Digital Garden - where the story continues through journal threads, community reflections, printable mail kits, and seasonal extras.

Inside the Digital Garden, you can:

• participate in the monthly penpal exchange
• access monthly printable mail kits and writing prompts for your letters
• follow the island journal threads to connect to the thoughts and stories behind the island postcard
• participate in community reflection prompts
• explore seasonal extras and new little additions as the island continues to grow

Matches for the penpal exchange are typically sent out around the 5th of each month. Members who join after matches have been sent will automatically be included in the following month’s exchange cycle. For example, if you join after June 4th, your first penpal match would arrive on July 5th.

Managing your subscription:

• You can pause, resume, or cancel anytime.
• If you pause your membership, you will lose access to the Digital Garden until your membership is active again and your final exchange will be the last month covered by your active billing period.
• For example, if your membership renews in June and is later paused or canceled during that month, July would be your final month participating in the penpal exchange.
• You can manage your subscription anytime through your account.
